Founder and Senior Partner

Brock A. Johnson is the founder and senior partner of the Johnson Law Firm in Gainesville, Georgia. A dedicated criminal defense attorney, he represents clients throughout North Georgia and regularly appears in the magistrate, state, and superior courts of Hall, Dawson, Lumpkin, White, Habersham, Stephens, Towns, and Union Counties.

With over a decade of criminal defense experience, Brock has tried nearly 40 cases to verdict and secured numerous acquittals in serious felony and misdemeanor cases. His trial work includes charges such as Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, major drug offenses, and felony cases. Known for his tenacity and integrity, Brock is committed to protecting the rights of every client and holding the government to its burden of proof.

Before founding the firm in 2022, Brock served as Senior Partner at Denslow & Johnson, LLC, Chief Assistant Public Defender for Dawson County, and Assistant Public Defender for Hall County. He also worked closely with the Drug and Mental Health Courts to help clients rebuild their lives through rehabilitation.

Brock earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.

He is a graduate of the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program and an active member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
